STAMFORD College Bhd’s (SCB) regularisation plan has been rejected by Bursa Securities Malaysia Bhd on the concern that the exercise does not comply entirely with Practice Note 17 of the Main Market Listing Requirements. As such trading trading in the securities of SCB will be suspended from Tuesday, August 3, 2010.
Bursa Securities will proceed to de-list the company if it does not appeal against the decision within the stipulated timeframe or if the company does not succeed in its appeal against the decision. SCB said its directors will deliberate on the matter and an announcement will be made later.
